, a Long Island-based manufacturing company in search of a skilled Accounts Services Representative.
The successful candidate will be representing our company to the customer and act as a critical liaison between the customer, sales, and operations teams.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email.
Receives and processes routine customer orders.
Assist customers with inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Maintains the ongoing relationship with multiple customers and sales staff, by identify account needs and recommend appropriate products or services Assist customers team with inquiries regarding products, accounts, and orders.
Distribute information to customers, such as MSDS, certificates of comp/analysis, order tracking information, etc.
Responsible for Sales Order Expedites Ability to work as a liaison with the logistics team to initiate claims with Freight Carriers Provide pricing RFQ's for our products and specialty priced accounts Review and manage order entry backlog Track order activity and alert appropriate management of any potential delivery problems Manage customer orders through the fulfillment process and communicate status as required Works through conflict constructively Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction REQUIREMENTS:

years of customer service-related work experience required 3 to 5 years of manufacturing industry experience preferred Accurate data entry required Order Entry system experience (e.
g.
SAP) a must Excellent understand of purchase order processing Proven attention to detail a must High School Diploma Problem solving and analytical ability required Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize, and deal with ambiguity Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office- Excel, Outlook, Teams Excellent written and verbal skills The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
